Men's Track
A three-time Pac-10 scorer in the 110 hurdles, ranks sixth all-time in Duck history with his personal best (14.04) from his sophomore season. Needs to run times of 14.40 and 14.74 this season to meet Pac-10 and Regional qualifying standards.
2001-02: Pac-10 Scorer. Scored in 110 hurdles in Pac-10 finale for third straight season (fifth-final, season best 14.22 (w:-2.2 mps); 14.30-q) and one of two Ducks in top-five. Owned regular season best of 14.18-wind-aided (w:+3.8) from Oregon Twilight and ran wind-legal season best in Pac-10 final into strong -2.2 mps headwind. Posted runner-up finishes three times during year - snowy Montana-Weber State Triangular (14.42), Washington Dual (14.67) and Oregon Invitational (14.29). Indoors, ranked second on team in 60 hurdles with personal best from Mountain Pacific Championships in February (thrid-final, 7.96 in finals, +0.04 seconds for altitude adjustment for Flagstaff's 6,877-feet altitude). 2000-01: Pac-10 Scorer. Stood out as one of team's most consistent performers. Entered season with personal best of 14.47 and ran faster in six of seven races. Fought through hamstring injury to score in Pac-10 Championships (seventh, 14.48). Ran three personal bests during season - 14.29 in Oregon Preview (second), 14.14 in Oregon Invitational (first) and 14.04 in Texas Invite (third). Added windy 14.15 mark to take third in heat in Texas Relays (+3.7w). Ranked second overall on squad in 110 hurdles behind NCAA Qualifier and school record holder Micah Harris (13.73). Indoors, competed in three meets with all four of his 55-meter hurdle marks at 7.61 or better (season best 7.53, 7.55aa in Holiday Inn Invite). Also ran 60-meter hurdles in Mountain Pacific Championships, taking second in final (8.04, 8.08aa), after clocking season best in prelim (8.01, 8.05aa).
1999-2000: Pac-10 Scorer. Ranked first on team in 110 hurdles with his season best from Pac-10 Championships preliminary round (14.47). Collected Pac-10 points following day with eighth-place finish and his second-fastest time of the year (eighth, 14.51). Other top times came in Stanford Invite (eighth, 14.58), Cardinal Invite (second, 14.63) and Mt. SAC Relays (fifth, 14.63). Claimed first collegiate win in outdoor debut in Oregon Preview (14.85). Indoors, owned best of 7.66 in the 55 hurdles from the preliminaries of the Mountain Pacific Championships, then returned to take third in final (7.68). Owned 60-meter hurdle season best of 8.19 from Days Inn Invitational qualifying round.
Prep: Won city title as a freshman and senior, and league titles as a freshman and junior. Owned personal bests of 13.86w/13.92 in the 110 hurdles. State runner-up as a junior, but suffered DQ as a senior. Helped team win city titles from 1996-99. Besides high school duty, hurdled and sprinted for Rancho Track Club.
