Harless Named to Pac-10 All-Academic Wrestling Team
April 18, 2003 WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Pacific-10 Conference announced the All-Academic Teams for the winter sports, with junior Jason Harless being named to the First Team for wrestling. Sophomore Luke Larwin earned Second-Team accolades, while senior Tony Overstake was named an honorable mention. Harless, a native of Bonanza, Ore., is a general sciences major with a 3.73 grade-point average. This is the second straight year Harless has earned a spot on the First Team. Larwin, a redshirt sophomore from Bend, Ore., earned a 3.51 grade-point average in environmental science. This is Larwin's second straight year on the Second Team. For Overstake, a senior from Medford, Ore., this is his first recognition for work in the classroom. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
