2003 Outlook — A consumate team player willing to do whatever it takes to make the team better. A smart base runner who could see time as a pinch runner. Before Oregon — Played two seasons at Long Beach City College...Earned Most Valuable Player honors at the state tournament in 2001 as team won state championship...Long Beach City was also runner-up at state championships in 2002. High School — Lettered four years in softball as a third baseman and two years as a guard in basketball at St. Paul high school in South Gate, Calif...Was a first-team all-Del Rey League honoree after hitting .340 her senior season...St. Paul was CIF runner-up in 1997...Played for Julio Jaime on the Poison softball club team. Personal — Born September 11, 1982 in Bellflower, Calif. Parents are Julio and Vivian Jaime. Three sisters, Gina, who played collegiate softball at Stanford; Jennifer, who played at Oklahoma and coached at Oregon in 2002; and Jacquelyn. |
