Women's Track
Ranks sixth all-time for Ducks in high jump thanks to last season’s Pac-10 personal best (5-9 1/4) that landed her runner-up honors. Her Pac-10 finish was Oregon’s highest in the high jump since Camille Jampolsky won in 1988 (6-2 3/4). Leads current Duck quartet, all with bests of 5-7 or better, and stands third overall among Pac-10 returnees based on 2002 marks. 2001-02: Pac-10 Runner-up (High Jump): After entering Pac-10 meet seeded in a seven-way tie for fourth, took runner-up honors (second, 5-9 1/4) with a 1/2-inch personal best that was 1 1/4 inches shy of the NCAA provisional mark (5-10 1/2). Also jumped 5-7 or better in three other meets - Mt. SAC Relays (second, 5-8 3/4) and Nebraska Quad (third, 5-7 1/4), Oregon Twilight (second, 5-7). Posted two wins during year at home in the Washington Dual (5-5) and Oregon Invitational (5-5). Indoors, owned team’s top two marks with 5-5 3/4 clearances in the UW Invitational (second) and UW Quad (second) in Seattle. Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention selection.
2000-01: Pac-10 Qualifier. Jumped in eight outdoor contests, clearing 5-6 or higher in five. Reaped highest Pac-10 finish with ninth-place effort (5-7), after entering meet seeded in a two-way tie for 10th. Two weeks prior, raised personal best in Steve Scott Invite (5-8) - also the Ducks' best mark since 1994. Won Willamette Invite (5-7), and added runner-up finishes in Oregon Twilight (5-5), Washington Dual (5-6) and Oregon Preview (5-4 1/4). Indoors, leaped season best in Eugene Indoor (third, 5-4 1/4), slightly better than her WolfPack Invite mark (seventh, 5-3 3/4). Pac-10 All-Academic Honorable Mention selection.
1999-2000: Pac-10 Qualifier. Competed in eight of 10 season meets, and cleared 5-5 or better in five appearances, including final three of season. Leapt then-collegiate best of 5-6 1/2 to finish second in the Hayward Relays - the team's top mark of the outdoor season. Closed season with efforts of 5-6 in Pac-10 Championships (13th overall), and 5-5 in Oregon Twilight (second) and Steve Scott Invite (fifth). Claimed first collegiate win with 5-5 effort in Washington dual, leading Duck 1-4 sweep for winning squad.
Prep: Won 4A state title as a senior (then-PR 5-6) and junior (5-5), and tied for eighth (5-0) as a sophomore. Owned final prep bests of 5-6 in the high jump and 33-10 in the triple jump. Was a varsity letterwinner in volleyball at middle blocker two years and one year in basketball at forward. A National Honor Society member, she graduated with honors.
