Women's Track
Team's fastest true freshman on the track in the 800 (2:17.80) in 2002 - her first season for the Ducks after transferring from the University of North Dakota. Fall 2002: Ran two cross country races for Ducks, ranking fifth on squad in Northwest Cross Country Classic (48th, 22:51) and seventh on unit in Beaver Classic (33rd, 4K 16:34). 2001-02: Outdoors, led freshmen for Ducks in 800 (2:17.80) with season best from Oregon Twilight (fifth). Ran 800 in four other meets – Willamette Open (fourth, 2:18.72), Oregon Invitational (14th, 2:20.47), Montana-Weber State Triangular (eighth, 2:23.71) and Washington Dual (fifth, 2:24.43). Did not compete indoors.
2001 Fall: Competed once for cross country squad as unattached entrant against one of the West Coast's biggest fields (330th, 33:06).
2000-01: Redshirted season as member of the University of North Dakota track and field squad.
Prep: Top-10 finisher in Minnesota state track meet in 1,600 as a freshman and top-eight finisher as sophomore, junior and senior. Also member of state runners-up in 4x800 relay as freshman in '97. All-conference pick in 400 and 800. Owned prep bests of 57.9 in 400 and 2:17.88 in 800 from 1998 and 1999, respectively. Robert Sanders Scholarship winner.
