Women's Track
Ranks top six on squad among returnees in shot put (second, 42-8) and hammer (sixth, 155-10) based on personal bests. Her shot put best is less than a foot from the Pac-10 qualifying standard (43-5 3/4). 2001-02: Ranked top six on team in shot put (fifth, 39-7 3/4) and hammer (sixth, 155-10) - Oregon’s deepest year all-time in the hammer with six past the 155-foot line. Threw hammer in seven meets, with four past 150-foot line, including a season best in her Lane Open win (155-10). Threw shot put in six contests, and was past 39-foot mark in four meets with her season best in the Linfield Icebreaker (fourth, 39-7 3/4). Indoors, ranked third on squad in shot put with season best from UW Quad (12th, 40-4), and fifth in weight throw with her mark from the UW Invitational (13th, 45-1 1/2).
2000-01: Missed Pac-10 qualifying mark in shot put by less than a foot with her personal best (42-8) from the Steve Scott Invite, and stood second on team at season's end. Hiked personal best in shot put four times during year. Missed shot put personal best in Oregon Twilight by less than three inches (third, 42-6 1/4). Indoors, ranked third on team in shot put (38-8) and fourth in weight throw (45-9). Also ranked fifth on team in hammer thanks to personal best from Mt. SAC Relays (154-5). Attended University of Oregon during 1999-2000 academic year but was not a member of the track team.
Prep: Finished 10th as a senior in the 1999 4A state meet in the shot put (36-6-3/4) and eighth as a junior (38-1). Metro champion in 1999 in shot put and in discus in 1998. Also varsity captain of cheer squad. High School (Coach): Glencoe '99 (Jim Smith).
