Women's Track
Ranks third among returnees in the triple jump with her windy best of 37-2 1/4 in 2002. Ranked fifth among league frosh, a group that also included teammate Clarice Hayward-Lee (37-11 1/2). 2001-02: Ranked third on team and second among newcomers in triple jump (37-2 1/4w / 36-6 3/4) with marks from the Oregon Twilight and Washington Dual, respectively. Competed in six meets with marks of 36-0 or better in three of them. Posted highest placing of year (third) in Linfield Icebreaker (36-0), Montana-Weber State Triangular (35-3 3/4) and Willamette Open (35-4). Also competed in 400 hurdles to help team’s scoring effort in Washington Dual (fifth, 69.44). Indoors, ranked third on team with season best from UW Invitational (12th, 35-11).
Prep: Took third in state meet in triple jump as senior (37-3 3/4) - and only four inches from win - and added fourth as junior (36-0 1/2). Lettered four seasons in basketball at both guard positions and two seasons in volleyball at outside hitter and middle back positions. Off the track, earned district scholar award and was an honor roll selection. High School (Coach): Marshfield '01 (Craig Osterson/Steve Pennington).
